Operation Stand Down Homeless Triage

Operation Stand Down Central Texas assists homeless veterans and their families by providing basic necessities, access to community services, and raising awareness of veterans’ issues. The first Stand Down event under the auspices of the Vietnam Veterans of San Diego (V.V.S.D.) to provide coordinated, comprehensive services to homeless veterans over a three-day period at one site. Myers Gardere International Foundation provided 200 nail care kits and encouragement to every homeless individuals we came in contact with.
